<text>This is the album cover of Bruce Springsteen's 1973 debut album. The cover is meant to look like an old postcard people used to send from their vacation destinations back in the day. In these postcards, the name of the city is in huge block print with images of the city's attractions "inside" the letters to showcase the highlights of the area. The album cover is no different: each of the letters contains scenes of the beach and buildings on the boardwalk, as Asbury Park is a tourist-y beach town that is part of the Jersey shore.

What I find really cool is that the design of this album cover was a personal touch of Springsteen's; he grew up in Asbury Park, and got discovered at the Stone Pony on the boardwalk. This was his way of using graphic design to put NJ on the map musically. To this day, the album cover is widely recognized. </text>
