<text>My parents moved into a rental house back in September. After noticing some weird structures and fixtures in the house, they discovered that the homeowner is in fact a doomsday prepper, using what is now our laundry room as storage for shelf-stable food items. Outside of this room is this homemade safe that the homeowner crafted himself. It looks kind of strange and does not seem as sturdy as a safe you would purchase yourself but it seems as if the homeowner is a superstitious guy and would have rather done it himself. </text>
