The silver stripes on the side is a signature for all jerseys but special for Sanders speciffically. This version of the Lions jersey incorporates Honolulu blue stripes in between the silve lining on the sleves. He is the best player in franchise history and made the jersey famous. The jerseys also have white block numbers. Something that until recently was common in all home jerseys for the Lions. The 20 is also retired so Sanders is the only Lion to wear the jersey in recent memory. Detroit has lacked star power since his retirement and has struggled since then too. The jersey signifies his talents, sacrfices and legacy.</text>
