Description An account of the resource This pewter mug I bought for $5 while at a flea market on winter break this past year. Although it hosts some utilitarian purposes, its primary and obvious one is for drinking liquids. However, I mostly use it for storage for items such as pencils, sticky-notes, and other things. One way the design holds an advantage over other mugs that are made of materials such as glass is that its shatter resistant. It won't break if it is dropped on the floor. One disadvantage is that pewter as been known to contain lead, this tends to make people shy away from using it out of fear or lead poisoning.
