This instrument in particular is made to not only sound great but have a strong presence when utilized on stage. This guitar has an additional string compared to most others to allow the player to hit much lower notes, this enables additional musical opportunity. The design of the instrument is in a letter "V" design which according to one's taste can look better or worse when used on stage. The design makes it difficult (but not impossible) to play sitting down but while standing they tend to be very balanced which works in the player's favor.
