Title A name given to the resource Post Modern Home--Clark Avenue Subject The topic of the resource Architecture Description An account of the resource This is a photo of a house that I pass on the way to class every morning. It is a private residence on Clark Avenue and it is unlike any of its neighbors, which were brick homes built in the 1930s and 1940s. The house is one massive rectangle made of stucco and glass--at some angles you can literally see right through it. There are no shutters or shingles or siding; everything is one uniform shape which is very pleasing to the eye. Even though this is the back half of the building, the front looks almost exactly the same. To me, its design is very sleek and modern. It reminds me of what architects in the 1960s thought the homes of the future would look like.
