This is a stemless wine glass that I got for a friend on Amazon. The plastic is designed to turn from clear to holographic rainbow when there is something cold in the cup. The point of this wine glass is to be fun and whimsical. Stemless wine glasses are very big among younger audiences now because they are less delicate and take up less space in a cabinet. The writing on the cup says "let's be unicorns", which also draws in a young audience. There is a large upswing in the unicorn trend and holographic trend. The writing is written in rose gold, which is also highly favored by young people. The glass plays on the consumer's desire to maintain a whimsicality that is seen in childhood and to have products that fit with design trends.
