Description
This is a house that is down the street from my apartment.
One should note that this house looks very different from the other homes in the neighborhood, which are mostly all a more traditional style. While the house itself is very wide, it is clear that the height of the ceilings differs greatly across the house; some parts are tall but most sections much lower. Furthermore, the windows seem to be the opposite shape in the sense that they are all very narrow and tall. While at first glance it looks as if the house could be split down the middle, the front door is located on the far right. Also, the materials and colors used on the house contrast with each other greatly.
Some may argue that this house is unattractive or does not "fit" in with the other homes in the neighborhood. However, it can definitely be said that this structure is eclectic, decorative, and meant to elicit a response from the people who pass by it on the street.
