Plant Sales Tag

Title

Plant Sales Tag

Subject

House Plant

Description

This is a picture of the tag attached to a snake plant from Lowe's. This side of the tag is the first thing that customers see, while the other side contains the price and more specific information on care. I find this tag particularly interesting because the plant itself also already comes in a pot so the buyer can keep it in its original condition. Using a bold font to describe it as a plant of "steel" tells consumers that the main benefit of this plant is that it is easy to keep alive and does not require much attention. Furthermore, the simplistic colors on the tag and the picture of the plant inside of a living room support the idea that this plant is an easy, one-step process. By making a tag with wording that displays the plant as both strong and simple, even consumers who are more hesitant about their ability to take care of plants will be persuaded to try this one.
