This is a photo of a piece of art in an airport. The art is appropriately located in a bookstore. It demonstrates using the media as something else besides just reading. The artist used media to display a narrative of where books can take you. Digitalization has allowed a decreased need for a physical book and these physical books can then be used for other things besides reading. The function of books has changed from reading to commercialization. The bookstore is advertising to persuade consumers to purchase physical books over competitor alternatives including digital versions.
