Inviting and encourages two-person use based on how the back of the bench curves to mimic the back of two connected chairs. The back is also at a reclined angle, which, paired with the depth of the seat, encourages a more reclined and thus relaxed position from the user. The rocking chair legs adds to the relaxed associations with sitting outside and emphasizes a casual experience. Most people also enjoy a rocking motion for its calming effect, which can be seen since birth. The light color emphasizes a relaxing appearance and implicitly tells users that it won't overheat in the sun and singe your legs like a dark seat.
