Description

The Chrysler Building is an iconic Art Deco skyscraper in New York City on the east side of Manhattan. The Chrysler Building built in 1928, and was the tallest building in the world until the Empire State Building was created in 1931. It has stainless chromium-nickel steel arches and narrow triangular windows, the Chrysler Building is an iconic item in the NYC skyline. The building was named after the impressive automotive developer, Chrysler. It features hubcaps, mudguards, and hood ornaments, making it unique and eye-catching. These features makes the building an example of Art Deco, which is a highly decorative style known for sharp angular or zig-zag surface forms and varied ornamentation.
