Description

This fountain is a depiction of the youthfulness of the city of Charlotte while also acting as an inviting piece of art for the plaza. Wells Fargo's long history and museum in Charlotte may have inspired them to create an artistic piece that captures the spirit of the city and why they are proud to have offices within it. It is also a pleasantly relaxing fountain located parallel to the building's entrance to invoke similar feelings with the brand Wells Fargo (symbolizing that you are in good hands with this bank). On the right side of the fountain there are two children holding onto each other further symbolizing the trust and support you will have with this bank. It also entices people to walk toward the entrance by having the fountain elevated along the stairs path. The smooth black stone lining the fountain also creates a serene feeling and makes this a relaxing location in the heart of Charlotte.
