Guitar Amplifier
Description
In this photo I have my guitar amplifier which is a Line 6 Spider 3 modeling amp. It has a lot of effects and the person operating the amplifier and adjusting tones to their liking has to have some understanding of what different effects or tones do to the sound of the guitar. To help people started, the computer built within the amp has preset tones modeled after popular artists and how their guitars sound. The tones date back as late as the 50's with songs like "Johnny B. Goode" by Chuck Berry to songs like Smooth by Santana, the amp will light up the different effects that are used so the user has a frame of reference of what is used to create that sound. Now someone who may have never used an amp like this may be lost but this can help them get started on making the four different tones they can store using the buttons labeled "Chan: A, B, C, & D" so they can start creating their own signature sound. A user who is already familiar with this will know exactly what to do as they have a frame of knowledge as to how the tones sound such as drive, bass, mid, treble, delay, and reverb. They will be able to effectively read and execute what they want with the amps abilities.
